Here are some pointers for how the do the necessary  preparation to make your interview as successful as it can be.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\n\t\t<strong>Get acquainted with the company.<\/strong>&nbsp; Find out as much \nabout the company, its history, its current situation and its future as \nyou can.&nbsp; Sources:&nbsp; your Addison Group recruiter, the company\u2019s website,\n internet search; friends and business associates (keep the position \nconfidential).&nbsp; Check out the company\u2019s social media presence \u2013 \nFacebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter. Have they been in the news recently? Any\n press releases or recent articles about them? Be prepared to ask good \nquestions about the company and its direction.<\/li><li>\n\t\t<strong>Learn about the position.<\/strong>&nbsp; Have a thorough \nunderstanding of the position, its duties and responsibilities, and \nwhat\u2019s expected.&nbsp; Be prepared to ask good questions:&nbsp; Who\u2019s been \nsuccessful and why?&nbsp;&nbsp; Who\u2019s failed and why?&nbsp; Who does it report to, whom\n does it supervise?&nbsp; What needs to be done in the first 6 months, in the\n first year?&nbsp;<\/li><li>\n\t\t<strong>Prepare your presentation.<\/strong>&nbsp; Not only should you be \nprepared for their questions; you must also treat this interview as an \nadvertisement for YOU.&nbsp; Only you know where you excel, why you are \ncapable of handling this position and what they can expect from you when\n you come on board.&nbsp; Think of the things of which you are most proud.&nbsp; \nAchievements, projects, work habits developed, compliments from \nmanagement, awards, relationships made.&nbsp; Be prepared to cite specific \nexamples of accomplishments and how your specific experience can help \nthe company solve some of its problems.&nbsp; Vague answers can come off as \ntheories about how you should have or would have performed, rather than \nthe reality of what actually happened. Make sure you aren\u2019t just telling\n a nice story and are actually giving the facts.
