WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., Nov. 01, 2017 \/PRWeb\/ — The DLC Group, a leading finance and accounting consulting firm, announced today that long-time employee, Marcia Ayala<\/a>, has assumed the role of Managing Director of the Chicago office.<\/span><\/p>\n

The DLC Group is thrilled to report that Marcia Ayala has assumed the role of Managing Director for the Chicago market. Marcia first joined DLC eleven years ago as a consultant. Over the past four years she has balanced both delivery and business development in her hybrid role as Client Account Director. In her new role as Managing Director, Marcia will continue to build upon the established success of DLC\u2019s Chicago practice.<\/span><\/p>\n

Marcia has over 20 years of finance and accounting experience working with both Fortune 500 and privately held businesses across numerous sectors including healthcare and pharmaceuticals, consumer and industrial products, education, insurance and financial services. Marcia is a CPA and a Project Management Professional (PMP). Her consulting expertise centered largely on acquisition integration, due diligence support, purchase accounting, carve-outs and divestitures, shared services, FP&A, business unit reporting and project management. She received her Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Chicago \u2013 Booth School of Business, her Masters of Science in Accountancy from DePaul University of Chicago, Illinois and her Bachelors degree from DePauw University of Greencastle, Indiana.<\/span><\/p>\n

Exciting changes are imminent for The DLC Group\u2019s management team. As Managing Director, Marcia will draw from her proven skills in client delivery and business development as she captains the Chicago office. \u201cShe has unquestionably created a successful new platform for practitioners with interest beyond just consulting,\u201d says Tom Sweeney, CEO. \u201cI am extremely confident in Marcia\u2019s ability to lead the Chicago team and build upon the success we have achieved in recent years.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The decision to hire a new managing director is the result of Kerry Heiple\u2019s decision to leave the firm and corporate America for personal reasons. As the current Director, Kerry has spent the last five years developing the company\u2019s second largest market. \u201cKerry has done a fantastic job leading the Chicago practice and she played an instrumental role in its growth over the last several years,\u201d says Sweeney. <\/span><\/p>\n

Although Marcia will begin her new duties immediately, Kerry will continue to assist on a part-time basis during the transition. <\/span><\/p>\n
