Mike Hamasaki

In February 2017, Mike Hamasaki was appointed to Chief Probation Officer of the Stanislaus County Probation Department by the Superior Court of California, Stanislaus County. Chief Hamasaki has been an officer with the Stanislaus County Probation Department since 1994. He graduated from California State University, Fresno in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology-Corrections. He is a member of the Chief Probation Officers of California, California Probation, Parole and Correctional Association, California Association of Probation Services Administrators and the Stanislaus County Peace Officers Association. Throughout his 24 years with the Probation Department, Chief Hamasaki has worked in partnership with several organizations such as Center for Human Services, United Way, Prison Law Office, West Modesto Community Collaborative, Boys and Girls Clubs of Stanislaus County, and local law enforcement and governmental agencies throughout Stanislaus County.
