Government Affairs Manager at City of Fresno

Danielle Bergstrom is the Government Affairs Manager in the Office of the Mayor with the City of Fresno where she works with community leaders and stakeholders at the local, state, and federal level to advance the City’s legislative and strategic funding objectives with a focus on sustainable transportation infrastructure and neighborhood revitalization.

Prior to working at the City, Danielle was an associate at PolicyLink, a national research and advocacy organization based in Oakland (CA) focused on social equity where she worked with diverse regional coalitions across the country to advance equitable regional infrastructure plans; worked with administrative officials in the U.S. Partnership for Sustainable Communities to develop better cross-agency coordination for local fair housing and regional planning, and disseminated widely-read and utilized reports on best practices in development without displacement and community engagement. She has also worked as a researcher on neighborhood revitalization and as a city planner.
